A friend of mine was their studio engineer. He lived in Birmingham, so fair guess is that's where they came from. Just listening to a tape of theirs now - hence the mail as I thought I'd look them up on the web.

Yes they were from Birmingham with members going on to form Higher Intelligence Agency and Asian Dub Foundation. The album was released ( eventually) by Chapter 22 Records. Many gigs were played and a following developed in Holland.
Original drummer on the recordings was Fuzz Townsend who went on to join PWEI in 1992. Kirk's Equator then poached our drummer Dave Wheels who went on with Bobby Bird to form HIA.
